Online Learning

Not every student is the same. At Legacy Traditional Schools, we believe that with a high-quality education, students will be able to learn and succeed in any environment.
And, as we continue to adapt our learning options in the midst of change, we remain committed to providing exceptional instruction to our students.

For the 2020-21 school year, Legacy students will experience an entirely different learning environment that integrates online learning as a critical part of their overall education experience.

Schoology

Schoology is Legacy Traditional Schools’ learning management system (LMS). Schoology provides tools for instruction and assessment, and offers a communication and collaboration platform that brings together students, teachers, parents and administrators. All Legacy students will use Schoology as part of their learning experience.

With Schoology, students and parents have their own user accounts.

Students enrolled in Legacy’s online learning program will use Schoology to receive instruction, complete assignments and take tests and quizzes. Students will interact with their teachers through Schoology and will participate in discussions with other students. Online students will be required to log in to Schoology daily to track their attendance.

Students attending school in-person will use Schoology as a supplement to classroom instruction. Teachers will be able to provide additional learning resources for students on Schoology that they may access after school to improve their academic skills.
